The fall season is here, which means brand new movies are hitting the big screen.

Happy Death Day- October 13, 2017

Happy Death Day to all, as Rangeview begins October with horror. “Happy Death Day” is a story about a college student who wakes to find she has to relive her death over and over again until she finds her killer. For the full trailer, click here .

“Although I’m not a horror flick type of guy, this is one of those movies I’d watch when it comes out,” says senior Keshawn Bradshaw. “ I feel like it has a comedic effect that would then turn into the slasher flick it is [meant] to be.” 

Jigsaw- October 27, 2017

Get into the Halloween mood with the horror film, “Jigsaw.” In this film, a mysterious person rounds up a group of people to play cruel games with each other that could end with life or death. For the trailer, click here.

Justice League- November 17, 2017

Wonder Woman and Batman are back in this new film. These two join powers to recruit a new team in order to defeat a rising power that could flush out the human race. The superhero squad includes Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and the Flash.  For the full trailer, click here.

“I am so excited! [I’ve been] such a fan of Wonder Woman since I was a small child,” says sophomore Peyton Gable. “I’m going to see it when it first comes out.”

CoCo- November 22, 2017

This film is about a young boy named Miguel as he ventures out to the Land of the Dead. On his way there, he meets a trickster named Hector. These two go on an adventure that reveals the true story behind Miguel’s family history. click here for the trailer.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi- December 15, 2017

May the force be with everyone as Rangeview dives into the next Star Wars movie. Disney continues the journey of where “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” left off as Rey meets up with Luke Skywalker. click here for movie trailer

“‘The Last Jedi still has many questions to answer,” says senior Connor Hannaman. “I believe that Disney will make many more movies after the nine episodes going into the background of all characters in the Star Wars lore. I will definitely see all of them.”

Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle- December 20

“Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle” takes you on an adventure when four teens find an old console and are drawn into the setting of the jungle in the game. They become the characters they chose to play and the only way out is to change the way they see themselves while discovering what Alan Parrish left 20 years ago. click here to view the trailer.

Many would agree that these movies are highly anticipated as many wait for these movies to hit theaters this Autumn.
